Motorcycle Does Not Start

Dealing with a motorcycle that won't start can cause inconvenience. This article provides a brief overview of the reasons behind a no-start situation and offers steps to get your NRD Motorcycle running again.

Possible reasons why your NRD Motorcycle won’t start:

  • Side stand is still in place
  • Parking switch not switched off
  • Accelerator/throttle fault
  • Controller coupler is loose
  • Faulty controller

Here are some steps to try:

1. Check your Load Balance on the NRD RideApp. If you don’t have a load, you need to top-up to start the motorcycle.

2. Verify that the key is fully turned to the “On” position.

3. Locate the fuse box and inspect if it is set to “On” position.

4. Check the battery. Ensure the battery is charged.

5. Connect the motorcycle to the charger and check if it is charging properly. Inspect the battery terminals to ensure they are securely connected and free of corrosion.
