Stolen or Missing Ridebox Battery
Immediate action is needed if your battery is stolen. This guide covers how to report the theft to authorities and NRD Customer Care.
1. Assess the Situation
- Make sure the battery hasn’t been moved by someone else before assuming it’s stolen.
- Note the Time and Place: Record the time and location where the battery was last seen.
2. Report the Theft to the Police
- Call the Police Immediately: Report the theft to your local police department as soon as possible.
- Provide Details: Give the police all relevant information, including the battery number of the RideBox Battery which can be located in the NRD RideApp.
- Obtain a Police Report: Get a copy of the police report. This will be necessary for insurance claims and other legal matters.
3. Report the incident to NRD
Any accident or damage must be reported to NRD within twenty four (24) hours from the occurrence.

- Description of the incident, including the date, location, persons involved, and nature of the event
- Photo/s of any damage
