Warranty and Customer Support Information
A warranty is provided to offer assurance to the buyer that the product is of high quality and free from defects. Overall, a warranty is a promise from the manufacturer that the motorcycle will perform as expected and that the customer will be supported if any issues arise.
- Warranty Period: 12 months after purchase for the Motor, 3 months for Electrical Components and Frame and Body
- Coverage: This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance.
What is Covered?
- Battery: Defects in the Battery or charging system.
- Motor: Issues with the electric motor.
- Electrical Components: Problems with the onboard electronics.
- Frame and Body: Structural defects in the frame and body components.
E88 Ventures, Inc. shall not have any obligation under this warranty policy with respect to the following:
- Normal noise, vibration, wear & tear or normal discoloration, fading of the vehicle.
- Rubber parts, bearing, cables, bulbs, seals, damaged/tampered parts.
- Cleaning and polishing the vehicle or parts.
- Repairs and adjustments caused by improper maintenance, lack of required maintenance, or repair or service by an unauthorized service condition, or misuse of electronic components and battery, other than the way it is mentioned in the manual.
E88 Ventures, Inc. shall not have any obligation under this warranty policy with respect to the following:
- Any defects arising due to neglect, corrosion, external damage, intrusion of foreign or deleterious matter, lack of servicing or abuse by the continued use of the vehicle after fault has become evident, or for consequential loss on the failure of parts or due to mishandling of parts of the vehicles/parts.
- Damage due to the negligence of customers or damages caused by accidents and non-preventable events including but not limited to flood, earthquake, fire.
- Cosmetic or surface corrosion of the vehicle caused by stone chips or scratches in the painted area (after assembled in an electric scooter).
E88 Ventures, Inc. shall not have any obligation under this warranty policy with respect to the following:
- The warranty will cease to exist if the original serial number on any parts of the vehicle is removed, distorted or altered.
- The warranty is not applicable, if the failure of parts is due to improper handling, servicing by unauthorized dealers/technicians, willful abuse or by the destruction by fire. In such cases, all costs (parts, labor, transport, etc.) to be borne by the customer.
E88 Ventures, Inc. shall not have any obligation under this warranty policy with respect to the motor:
- Motor screws are found open or missing.
- Water logging inside the motor.
- Motor axle, motor magnet, motor wheel rim, motor cover and other parts broken due to misuse, collisions, overload.
- Coils and connectors burnt due to use in extreme climbing ramps (upward slope) for long duration or due to overloading vehicles beyond rated capacity.
- Wire damage, sleeve cut, crimping pin out and wires are found twisted.
- Rusting of magnets and stator.
- Any kind of unauthorized welding is done on the motor or related parts.
E88 Ventures, Inc. shall not have any obligation under this warranty policy with respect to the controller, converter, and charger:
- Screws of controller, charger, converter or any other parts are found open or missing.
- Track brunt due to overloading.
- MOSFET/Transistor failure due to continuous overloading.
- Failure due to water or liquid content inside the controller.
- Enclosure damaged/connector damaged.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you need to make a warranty claim, follow these steps:
- Contact NRD Customer Care: Reach out to our support team via email or chat.
- Provide Vehicle Information: Prepare pertinent information such as your motorcycle’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), date of purchase (with proof of purchase), as well as a detailed description of the issue.
- Schedule an Inspection: Our team will guide you to the nearest authorized NRD Dealer or Service Center for inspection and repair.
